SeaTac International airport is going through a major expansion of its land and air side facilities. With this expansion there is a need to develop a state of the art ITS system that can provide the airport and its patrons with the products and services that can provide seamless traveler information system and the ability to deploy and manage advanced traffic information systems. Transpo is leading the ITS planning and deployment effort for SeaTac International. Our main responsibilities include:SeaTac ITS

  • Design and integration of TMC functions into the C4 airport operations center including emergency services and dispatch
  • An all digital IP-based communication system
  • Surveillance, security, and monitoring applications
  • Traveler information systems via DMS (Dynamic message signage) and FIDS
    (flight information display systems)
  • Road weather information systems
  • Software and system integration
